Ming-Na Wen Coming To L.A. Comic Con: Early Bird One-Session Passes On Sale
by Gary Catig
Last month, L.A. Comic Con announced their early bird passes went up for sale. Recently, the pop culture show shared more news about their event later this year including a new guest and updates on ticketing.
Coming to L.A. Comic Con is a Disney triple threat. She’s been a Disney princess, a Marvel hero and a Star Wars bounty hunter. The next invited guest is none other than Ming-Na Wen.
Chris DeMoulin, CEO of Comikaze Entertainment, L.A. Comic Con’s parent company said about the latest guest:
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Ming-Na Wen join L.A. Comic Con for the first time! She is a terrific actress with great range and is the only person we know who has been a Disney Princess, a kick-ass Marvel S.H.I.E.L.D. operative, and a feared Star Wars bounty hunter and assassin. For fans of The Mandalorian, having Ming-Na and Giancarlo Esposito both at the show is just awesome.”
In addition, sales for the one-session pass have gone up and for a limited time, they have special early bird pricing. Each day of the convention are split into two sessions and the ticketing option is an interesting way to deal with the fluid situation of the pandemic. The reasoning behind the sessions is more for crowd control since there is no definitive answer about crowd density restrictions set by the L.A. Department of Public Health for December.
There’s no reason to worry about missing out though if you only purchase one session in the day. Each session pass will also come with a password for a digital code for streaming the other half of the day you don’t have a ticket for. The early bird pricing guarantees to be the lowest price offered. The sessions last for five-hour time periods and if the L.A. Department of Public Health doesn’t impose capacity restrictions, session passes will automatically be upgraded to 1-Day passes.
Joining Wen as special guests are actors Giancarlo Esposito, Zachary Levi, Bruce Campbell, Tom Welling, voice actor Tom Kenny, and comics legend Frank Miller. For those not ready to attend in person events, there is a virtual option for digital products, online experiences and streaming capabilities. Check out their website for more details.
L.A. Comic Con will be held this December 3rd -5th.
