Valve Announces Portable Console ‘Steam Deck’ For $399

Though Nintendo has dominated the handheld market for the last decade, Valve has announced a new competitor in that market with the release of their own portable Steam Deck. The console comes with a seven-inch screen and relies on SteamOS. Valve seems to be marketing it as a mini-PC as much as they are a console, as the system supports keyboard/mouse, and can be plugged into external displays.
