It’s Saturday, so it’s time once more to round up a few of the more popular post from the past week for you to enjoy again, or for the first time:

  1. Ben Martin’s Franchise Explosion (or Implosion) column continues to do well. Last weekend he looked back at Furious 7 here.
  2. Last week’s Something for the Weekend makes a rare appearance on the list. Read up on last week’s column here.

  4. DC Comics first look at the upcoming Batman 89 #1 proved popular. Check it out here.
  5. Dynamite Comics have made a bit of a splash last week too with plenty of extended previews and announcements. One preview was for Vengeance of Vampirella #20 here.
  6. Dynamite also announced its first children’s book, Saved by a Whisker, as posted by EiC Erik Amaya here.
  7. And one more bit of Dynamite Comics news: Rodney Barnes was revealed as the next comic book writer to take on Ian Fleming’s James Bond in James Bond: Himeros. Read all about it here.
  8. In other news BOOM! Studios announced Something is Killing the Children spin-off title, House of Slaughter here.
  9. On the previews front, Archie Comics’ Betty & Veronica Friends Forever: What If…? was popular with readers. Take a look at it here.
