Developer Microids have a release date trailer for the next game in their Syberia series, Syberia: The World Before. The game takes place in two different time periods. In 1937, the player is Dana Roze, a seventeen year old pianist with her future career in peril thanks to the start of World War II. In 2004, the player is Kate Walker, a young woman imprisoned in a salt mine looking to learn more about her identity. Both women will travel across continents in search of the answers they seek.
Pre-ordering the game gets players a digital art book, while the Digital Deluxe edition comes with the game, a digital soundtrack, a short version of the script, wallpapers, avatars, storyboards, and a Game Fan Kit.
Syberia: The World Before launches on December 10th for PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Game Store. There are plans to release the game on console sometime in 2022.
