Eric Powell And Harold Schechter’s ‘Did You Hear What Eddie Gein Done?’ True Crime Graphic Novel Gets A Second Printing
by Olly MacNamee
Albatross Funnybooks is sending its new graphic novel, Did You Hear What Eddie Gein Done? back to the printers for a second printing. Written by author Harold Schechter and illustrated by Eric Powell, it tells the story of one of America’s most notorious 20th century killers and mommy’s boy Ed Gein. And it’s only just arrived in shops from today, August 24th.
“Painstakingly researched and illustrated, Schechter and Powell’s true-crime graphic novel presents Gein’s infamous story like never before. The book delves into the twisted history of Ed Gein, his family, and the notorious violence that inspired Psycho, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and The Silence of the Lambs.”
Check out my advance review of the book here and maybe look out for it at your local comic book store ahead of a second printing in late September. And as a reminder, I’ll leave you with this preview to whet your appetite:
