Mark Millar’s ‘Super Crooks’ Becomes Netflix Original Anime

In Super Crooks a small-time villain named Johnny Bolt recruits the ultimate crew for one last heist. Mark Millar’s super-villain heist comic is getting an action packed anime adaptation by studio Bones. Super Crooks is one of the first American indie comic series to be adapted into a Japanese anime since 2006’s Witchblade. It couldn’t have come at a better time with superhero and anime fandom reaching their prime in pop-culture. With the success of the Invincible animated series I hope that we see more animated and anime adaptations of indie comics in the near future.
Super Crooks will be 13 episodes and stream on Netflix premieres on November 25th.
