Dynamite And Jim Butcher Set A New ‘Dresden Files: Bigfoot’ Graphic Novel For February

by Erik Amaya

Harry Dresden has a new boss: Bigfoot.

Dynamite announced Thursday a February release for The Dresden Files: Bigfoot, the sixth graphic novel in the ongoing series. Creator Jim Butcher returns alongside co-writer Mark Powers and artist Joe Cooper to re-imagine some hard to find Dresden short stories. Combined with new material, it sees the noted professional wizard taking on a new assignment from the famous cryptid.

“Bigfoot hasn’t gotten nearly enough attention since we stopped trying to find him every season on Animal Planet, and I feel that needs correcting post haste,” Butcher said in a statement. “As I’ve often said before, I mostly see the Dresden Files in my head as drawn animation, and I deeply enjoy seeing my often-ridiculous imagination coalesce into imagery that other people can enjoy too!”

Dresden Files: Bigfoot features a cover from Chris McGrath. It will be available in hardcover and a limited edition signed by Butcher. It is slated for release in February.
