As this preview for the upcoming second part of Masters of the Universe: Revelation beings, it certainly appears that Skelegod (Mark Hamill) has the Power. He’s finally learned the secrets of Castle Grayskull and Evil-Lynn (Lena Headey) is the keep’s new Sorceress. But the situation inspires Teela (Sarah Michelle Gellar) to accept her own destiny. Also, as part of the bargain, a legend returns.
Although the first half of the series was bizarrely divisive among He-Man fans expecting something more centered on the most powerful man in the universe, it proved to be a love-letter to much of the MOTU legacy — from the original ideas of the action figures, the Filmmation series, the live action film, and even one or two things from the 200X series. In fact, the only thing missing entirely is The New Adventures of He-Man. And we wouldn’t be shocked if at least one reference to that series or product line pops up as He-Man, Teela, and the rest of the gang renew their fight against Skeletor and his armies. Joining the Heroic Warriors for this battle are Method Man as Clamp Champ, Dee Bradley Baker as the voice of Savage He-Man, and Danny Trejo as “Ramm Man” — yes, that is the spelling we received from Netflix.
Masters of the Universe: Revelation returns to Netflix on November 23rd.
