Microsoft Is Offering 75 Days Of Free Crunchyroll Premium To Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Owners
by Sage Ashford
After some vague tweeting about things getting a lot more orange, the Xbox Game Pass twitter account has revealed that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate owners will have a free trial for Crunchyroll Premium: Mega Fan for 75 days.
“Starting today, Ultimate members can get more out of anime with 75 days free of Crunchyroll Premium: Mega Fan. With Mega Fan, members can enjoy over 1,000 series ad-free, with access to new episodes simulcast one hour after premiere in Japan, and more! Great titles like “One Piece,” “My Hero Academia,” “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba,” and more are now available to stream and enjoy. Ultimate members who are new to Crunchyroll Premium will be eligible to claim the 75-day subscription trial through the Perks gallery on their Xbox console, on the Xbox app on Windows PCs, or through the Xbox Game Pass mobile app on iOS and Android. Once the Perk is claimed, members will be directed to the Crunchyroll site to activate their subscription. Make sure you claim this offer by February 8, 2022!”
There’s really only one major problem with this: it’s available to new Crunchyroll customers only. And with Crunchyroll being the primary streaming anime company, there’s only so many people who don’t already have Crunchyroll, or haven’t been subscribed to it in the past. Still, for the handful of people who’ve never had a Crunchyroll account, this adds to the already incredible deal of Xbox Game Pass.
