‘MST3K’ Turkey Day Marathon To Reveal Season 13 Movie Titles

Turkey Day is nearly here. And for some, that means a lot of food, family, and a carb-induced nap. But for the devoted fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000, it also means an eight-episode marathon of their favorite show to compliment the food and fam. As has become tradition, Shout! Factory will present an all-day stream of MST3K this Thursday, November 25th, on various platforms. Four of the episodes were chosen by fans — and we can tell you ‘Experiment 816: Prince of Space‘ is on the menu — with the other four chosen by the series’ producers.
But beyond that, new bumpers between episodes will feature the names of the movies to be riffed in the upcoming Season 13. A couple have already been confirmed, like Gamera vs. Jiger, Demon Squad, and Robot Wars, but that still leaves ten films to be discovered.
For the upcoming season, MST3K will go it alone on their custom-made Gizmoplex environment, which will be both a dedicated streaming platform for the show in all its manifestations and a plot point as Kinga Forrester (Felicia Day) moves into the next phase of her diabolical plan. The new season, which will debut on the Gizmoplex in 2022, was fan-supported from last spring’s successful Kickstarter campaign.
The Mystery Science Theater 3000 2021 Turkey Day Marathon begins Thursday at 9am ET/6am PT on various platforms and the MST3K YouTube channel.
