Scenes From Comic-Con Special Edition: A Tempered Down Pop Culture Event

It’s been over two years since San Diego Comic-Con was held and one of the last in-person events Comic-Con International held was “Sense of Wonder: The Art of WonderCon Anaheim” at their museum. With things seeming safer to attend larger gatherings, Comic-Con Special Edition took place this past Thanksgiving weekend.
It might not have had the same grandeur of a summer time SDCC, but it still had a number of recognizable vendors. Publishers such as Scout Comics and Entertainment, Aftershock Comics, and Z2 Comics were present along with toy companies including Bandai and its various divisions, Funko, and Cryptozoic Entertainment.
Overall, it was an enjoyable show and some might say they preferred the more laid-back atmosphere of Special Edition. Yet there were still magical moments like when John Cena made a surprise appearance at the Masquerade in full Peacemaker getup. Take a look at scenes of the three-day event below.
