Streamer, Dr. Disrespect, Teams Up With Game Devs To Found AAA Studio, Midnight Society

Streamer Dr Disrespect has announced he’s teamed up with a handful of developers and people in the gaming industry to form a new AAA gaming studio known as Midnight Society. The Midnight Society’s co-founders are the former Infinity Ward’s creative strategist and community manager, Robert Bowling, and Quinn DelHoyo from 343 Studios.

According to the Midnight Society’s main page, their focus is on the “Day Zero Community”, as in the people who are day one fans:

“We flip the tables on the traditional video game development model and embrace the ‘Day Zero Community’. That means including our players – yes, you – from the earliest most inception. That could be testing reload times and recoil patterns in a firing range or jumping in for the first-ever PVP sessions. No more “I hope this game will be good.” Be there when your voice can actually make an impact because we want to hear it. Really.”
The company is still in the hiring stages, but fans can enter their email to get information on any upcoming projects.
