Jeff Lemire Signs An Exclusive Deal With Image Comics

Image Comics have announced that bestselling, multi-award winning creator Jeff Lemire has signed an exclusive deal with with them, making Image his home publisher for all forthcoming projects launching in 2022 and beyond. Hmm, I wonder if that will include any Substack titles eventually too?

Lemire has had a longtime relationship with Image Comics including such series as Descender and Ascender with Dustin NguyenGideon Falls and Primordial with Andrea SorrentinoA.D.: After Death with Scott SnyderFamily Tree with Phil Hester, Plutona with Emi Lenox, and his solo project Royal City.

Plus, In 2022, he has already announced his return to working with with both Nugyen for the upcoming Little Monsters in March and then with Sorrentino on The Bone Orchard Mythos of shared horror universe titles. But, above and beyond that, Lemire has a number of soon-to-be announced projects lined up with Image too. Talk about keeping busy.

Here’s what Lemire had to say about this new partnership:

“Having worked with Image on so many projects over the last decade, I’ve come to appreciate the complete creative freedom and support that they’ve provided me. I’m excited to make Image the exclusive home for all my projects in the years to come, both solo projects that I will draw myself, and my various collaborations. Bone Orchard and Little Monsters are just the start of what I have planned this year and beyond.”

So, as well as Substack, look out for Image Comics as the home for more Jeff Lemire helmed comic books throughout 2022 and beyond.
