‘Escape Academy’ Trains Its Players To Become The Ultimate Escape Artists

by Sage Ashford

Most people would probably agree that the worst part of escape rooms is wrangling together enough people to actually do one. But developer Coin Crew Games, and publishers iam8bit and Skybound Games, have announced the perfect solution to this with Escape Academy.

The game is set at the campus of Escape Academy, where players will tackle over a dozen different rooms made by people who design real life escape rooms. Along the way to becoming a top-tier escape artist, players will get a chance to meet the faculty of what has to be one of the coolest campuses ever, all of whom happen to have their own specialties when it comes to escaping.

For those who are concerned that the cooperative aspect of escape rooms is ruined by playing alone, the campaign can be done both in single-player or in two player co-op. Smartly, the good people at Coin Crew have made this playable both online and locally.

Escape Academy launches for Xbox and PlayStation consoles and PC sometime in 2022.
