Newest Creative Team On ‘Skybound Presents Afterschool’ #2 Announced

Image/Skybound’s new horror teen anthology series, Afterschool, announced the latest creative team to take the reins with the sophomore issue. Skybound Presents Afterschool #2 will be produced by writing duo Kate Herron (Marvel Studios’ Loki, Sex Education) and Briony Redman (the BAFTA Rocliffe-winning Pont Brec), artist Leila Leiz (M.O.M.: Mother of Madness, Horde), colourist Giovanna Niro (Two Moons, Summoner’s War: Legacy) and letterer Pat Brosseau (Birthright, Manifest Destiny), with a cover by Veronica Fish (Archie, Sabrina the Teenage Witch).
“Scratches to mark you, a feather to warn you, then it comes…” According to the urban legend, if you try to get rid of your baby, a monstrous stork will force you to keep it. But surely, that can’t be true, can it? For Leah and her friends, they’re about to find out about just how true it is in…The Storkening!
As you may or may not be aware, each issue of Afterschool is a standalone comic book that will feature a different creative team. The series debuts June 8th with issue #2 dropping Wednesday, July 20, 2022.
