‘Shaman King’ Is Getting A Sequel Anime

by Sage Ashford

Though people didn’t talk about it much Stateside, reboot anime of Hiroyuki Takei’s Shaman King manga looks to have been successful enough to garner a sequel.  Announced at the end of the last episode of the main series, it’s only a short teaser that features Hana Asakura, the son of Yoh and Anna.  Hana Asakura is the protagonist of Shaman King Flowers, a sequel manga to the original series.

Shaman King Flowers actually never reached completion in the manga because the magazine it was being published in, JumpX, was canceled without warning. Knowing that, this sequel series could go almost anywhere after adapting the manga. For now though, nothing else is known other than the few glimpses in the trailer.
