‘SurrealEstate’ Gets A Second Lease On Life At Syfy

by Erik Amaya

SurrealEstate is coming back to Syfy!

Although the cable channel cancelled the program last year, it will return for a second season in 2023 according to Deadline. The program stars Wynonna Earp‘s Tim Rozon as Nick Roman, the head of unique real estate agency specializing in haunted houses and supernaturally afflicted locales. The series also reunited Rozon with Earp veteran Savannah Basley and his Schitt’s Creek co-star, Sarah LevyAdam KorsonMaurice Dean Wint, and Tennille Read also starred in the first, ten-episode season which aired over the summer of 2021. Following the finale, Syfy announced the program would not return. Creator George R. Olson and his team vowed to find another home for the series, but it seems Syfy reconsidered their earlier decision.

We just we they could the same for Wynonna Earp as well.

Nevertheless, the imminent return of SurrealEstate is a victory for quirky Canadian genre shows and the fans who continued to wave its banners over the last eight or nine months. We look forward to its return next year.
