Something For The Weekend: Your Regular Dose Of Popular Posts

by Olly MacNamee

We hope you’re all having a great weekend so far, and to try and make it even greater are some of the popular post from the past week here at Comicon to keep you informed and entertained. Enjoy!

  1. Our newest recruit, RPG and tabeltop gaming expert Anton Kromoff, certainly made a splash this past week with a good number of his posts making this week’s list. Here he interviews indie tabletop RPG creator, Diogo Nogueira.
  2. And here he spotlights RPG artist Matt Garbutt.
  3. He also found the time to play and review The Keep on the Boardlands, and old-school classic from his childhood here.
  4. Kromoff also posted his review of The Worldbuilder’s Notebook here. From all the evidence it would seem we have a good deal of gamers out there. Welcome, one and all!
  5. No-one could escape the release of Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney + and Frank Martin’s review of the second episode can be read here.
  6. Martin also reviewed Superman & Lois once again here.
  7. Plus, we had a commentary piece by Martin on the use of long-form storytelling in This Is Us here.
  8. My piece on the Brian Bolland panel from last weekend’s Lawless panel also made it onto the list as one of the very few comic book related pieces. But then, it is Brian Bolland, a living legend. Read up on that one here.
  9. And finally, I leave you with not one but two podcasts that we host. Firstly, The ICE Cast Live featuring Nick Pittarra here.
  10. And, Deconstructing Comics episode #737, looking a Jack Kirby’s Fourth World saga here.
