The third season of Harley Quinn is almost here. And to celebrate, HBO Max has released a teaser trailer for the program’s upcoming return next month. In it, Harley (Kaley Cuoco) and Poison Ivy (Lake Bell) are still in the midst of their “Eat. Bang! Kill.” Tour when circumstances lead them back to Gotham. Reuniting with King Shark (Ron Funches), Clayface (Alan Tudyk), and Frank the Plant (JB Smoove), the couple — now dubbed “Harlivy” — strive to become the best version of themselves while also working towards Ivy’s long desired plan of transforming Gotham into an Eden paradise. Also, the group sits with director James Gunn for some reason while Joker (also Tudyk) runs for mayor.
The cast also includes Matt Oberg (Kite Man), Christopher Meloni (Commissioner Gordon), Andy Daly (Two-Face), Diedrich Bader (Batman/Bruce Wayne), James Adomian (Bane), Sanaa Lathan (Selina Kyle), Briana Cuoco (Batgirl/Barbara Gordon), and Harvey Guillen (Nightwing).
The third season has been highly anticipated since Harley Quinn moved from the now-defunct DC Universe to HBO Max and, judging from the trailer above, it seems its lost none of its spark. Thus, it’s even more exciting to learn the season will debut on July 28th — one month from today — with its first three episodes. Subsequent installments will stream weekly through September 15th.
