Get On The Wrathful And Righteous Path With ‘Pathfinder’
by Anton Kromoff
Welcome to the table.
I always get a bit of a smile when I see a TTRPG coming to the consoles. I have really good memories of watching people play the Dragonlance NES game and I always liked Tower of Doom in the arcade. So when I saw that Owlcat Games was bringing their critically-acclaimed RPG to consoles on September 29th of 2022 I was pretty stoked. You can place your pre-orders right now on PlayStation and Xbox though PlayStation has an additional 10% discount currently.
The physical edition of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous has also been revealed and will include four free DLCs, a set of stickers, and the official printed handbook introducing the universe to newcomers and featuring exclusive artwork. I’ve not seen the launch date for the physical pre-orders yet but we have been assured they will start soon so ask the fine folks at GameStop, Target, or wherever you like to buy your physical games regularly.
The Enhanced Edition of Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous is also going to become the standard version for the console release with some quality-of-life improvements like a photo mode and some new high-level content related to several mythic paths as well as other features and tweaks. All owners of the PC version will also receive a free update to the Enhanced Edition on September 29.
So if you are looking for something new for your video game library, and you dig TTRPGs this may be a title you should give a look!
Until next time, never let someone touch your controller with cheesy hands.
