Fan Expo 2022: First Look At New Publishing House ‘Frank Miller Presents’

Frank Miller Presents is a new indie comic publication house created by Frank Miller (The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City, 300), Dan DiDio (DC Comic co-publisher 2010-2020), and Silenn Thomas (CEO of Frank Miller Ink). In a statement in The Hollywood Reporter, Frank Miller said, “Our focus for this publishing company is to cultivate a fellowship of artists and writers to mentor, collaborate, and push forward not only each other, but the art form as well.”
The comics produced by FMP will include some familiar favorites and some fresh ideas. Miller will partner with Philip Tan to create a sequel to his scifi samurai story, Ronin. Renowned erotic artist Milo Minara will deliver his vision of Sin City. Miller will write and draw a Sin City prequel titled, Sin City: Blood and Dust. The story will take place in 1858 and star a Native American ancestor of the original Sin City protagonist, Marv. Blood and Dust will be a Western, a genre Miller feels is the true precursor to Crime Noir. New comics include a Young Adult fantasy series called Frank Miller’s Pandora with Emma Kubert and a superhero universe created by Dan DiDio called Ancient Enemies.
FMP first publications will hit comic book store this fall.
