by Olly MacNamee

Another weekend and another selection of popular posts from the past week:

  1. First up are the regular columns that seem to make the cut with last week’s Review Round Up here.
  2. Then we had Richard Bruton’s Art for Art’s Sake, celebrating Simon Gabe’s art here.
  3. Richard also brought us an outpouring of his love for Raymond Briggs who recently past. And two of those posts make it onto this week’s list with a loving review of When the Wind Blows here.
  4. And then there was his look back at Gentleman Jim and Ethel & Ernie here.
  5. On a comic book heavy list this week my catch up with Shelly Bond did well. Read the full interview here.
  6. I also brought news of Doug Wagner and Daniel Hillyard’s next serial-killer romp, Plush, here.
  7. And, I reported on Marc Silvestri’s Batman/The Joker: Deadly Duo from DC Black Label here.
  8. Moving away from comic books and EiC, Erik Amaya, reports on the departure of key actor, Jordan Elsass, from TV’s Superman & Lois here.
  9. Gary Catig posted a new trailer for new game Jagged Alliance 3 here.
  10. And finally Rachel Bellwoar interviewed actor Clare Gilles on her new role in Amazon Freevee’s comedy Sprung here.

A good selection, even if it is a list focussed on comics, But then, we are a comic book news website first and foremost. Anyway, I’ll leave you with the new trailer for Wednesday, based on the Charles Addams’ Addams Family cartoon strip and debuting on Netflix soon, Starring Jenna Ortega in the title role, alongside Catherine Zeta-Jones, Luis Guzman, Gwendoline Christie, Christina Ricci and more:
