And now, to end this week, it’s time to look at the bizarre and disturbingly brilliant work of Iain Laurie.
You may well know of his work from comics such as And Then Emily Was Gone and The Edge Off, Love Is Love, and more – all rather magnificent. I first came across his work in 2011 with Roachwell, something I described as, “a comic of deliberately obtuse strips, surreal moments, a world where things just happen, strange things, bizarre things, dark, twisted little things.” And that’s something that you can still say about his work and it’s all the better for it.
Follow him on Twitter and Instagram, buy his work here, and enjoy these delights…
