‘Genshin Impact’ Is Getting An Anime

by Sage Ashford

Genshin Impact is getting its own “long-term” anime project courtesy of animation studio ufotable. The first trailer doesn’t show much, with the majority of it showing some of the landscapes of the first continent, Mondstadt. It’s still a beautiful trailer though, which is a testament to how ufotable can make anything look good.

There’s also a glimpse at the Traveler’s companion Paimon, and both Aether and Lumine. It isn’t clear which of the two will be the lead protagonist in this case though, as the series doesn’t even have a launch date just yet. Considering it’s a long term project, there’s likely a long way to go before this comes out, considering the game is barely through the fourth continent.
