‘Blue Beetle: Graduation Day’ To Be Published In Both English And Spanish
by Olly MacNamee
Writer Josh Trujillo and artist Adrián Gutiérrez are bringing Jaime Reyes, a.k.a. Blue Beetle, back to DC Comics with Blue Beetle: Graduation Day. And it’s going to be launched as both English and Spanish editions.
“Fans first got a peek at the new series in DC’s Round Robin 2021, which has returned as a six-issue series following Jaime as he graduates from high school and attempts to figure out his future, responsibility to his Scarab, and what comes next for him as a Super Hero. Blue Beetle: Graduation Day will introduce new characters, like the Yellow Beetle, as well as familiar faces from across the DC Universe.”

DC Comics will release Blue Beetle: Graduation Day #1 with variant homage covers by artists Rafael Albuquerque, Cully Hamner, David Marquez and Alejandro Sánchez. Plus there will be a papel picado insert designed by Ivan Plascencia featuring the Scarab Khaji Da. The papel picado will be polybagged with a foil edition of the main cover by Gutiérrez and Quintana.

Blue Beetle: Graduation Day #1 will be available on November 29th from DC Comics with a first look below:
