by Olly MacNamee
Welcome to the weekend and another round up of popular posts you may have missed during the week. So, grab a drink and a snack, sit back and settle in for your ten-to-takeaway:
- It’s a preview-heavy list this week with DC Comics winning big! We have previews for Harley Quinn #23 (here)
- Batman: Beyond the White Night #6 (here)
- Young Justice: Targets #4 (here)
- Batman: Fortress #6 (here)
- DC Vs. Vampires #10 (here)
- We also had a non-DC Comics’ preview too. Ablaze’s Bêlit & Valeria #5 (here)
- Okay, enough of the previews. We also brought you the cover reveals for Nemesis: Reloaded #1 by Mark Millar and Jorge Jimenez here.
- Moving away from comic now and Erik Amaya’s review for The Handmaid’s Tale makes it onto the list (here).
- Eric also posted a review for S03 Ep.7 of Stargirl here.
- And then we had an exclusive too. Brendan M Allen helped get the word out on wrestling legend, Arn Anderson’s autobiographical graphic novel Arn Anderson: My Life as The Enforcer here.
Right, that’s your lot for another week. Well, almost. This week’s little something extra is the trailer for the forthcoming Netflix TV show, 1899, made by the same people who brought you the Scandi-Noir-style Sci-Fi Dark. One of my favourites TV shows of the pst few years and this looks like it could be a winner too.
“On their journey across the vast and treacherous Atlantic Ocean, the passengers of the Kerberos encounter the biggest mystery of their lives. Welcome to 1899, a deeply immersive new series from the creators of Dark.”
