Vault Comics Announces New Graphic Novel Line Focussing On Metallica, Def Leppard, The Beach Boys And More

Vault Comics announces its new line of graphic novels from some of the biggest and iconic musical headliners in the music biz. The new imprint, Headshell, will be publishing all-new graphic novels from recording artists such as Metallica, Def Leppard, The Beach Boys, Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz, Redman, and more. And it will all be overseen by acclaimed songwriter and producer, Richard Rudolph.
“Great musicians are storytellers. But some stories need to be told on the page. Headshell works with iconic recording artists to create unique graphic novels that resonate with artists and audiences. Headshell graphic novels present original stories inspired by artists’ careers and music, giving fans an all new way to connect with the artists and music they love.

Metallica co-founder Lars Ulrich said:

Headshell will Iaunch with Dying Inside by Pete Wentz, Hannah Klein, and Lisa Sterle. And here’s what Wentz sad of this new endeavour:

Headshell graphic novels will be available in standard, deluxe, and collectors editions, including special one-of-one rarities. Each graphic novel will debut first in comic book stores and then find their way into bookstores, courtesy of distributor Simon & Schuster.
