‘Octopath Traveler II’ Introduces Throne And Temenos
by Sage Ashford
Ahead of the release of their upcoming title Octopath Traveler II, Square-Enix has put out a new trailer focused on two of the main characters in the game, Throne the Thief and Temenos the Cleric.
For Throne, the Steal ability remains active from the previous game, but they’ve added a second ability for her in Ambush, which allows her to knock enemies unconscious. She also has an ability in battle known as Blessing of Darkness, which boosts the strength of all her allies in battle at night. Her Latent Power, Leave No Trace, grants her the additional skill to attack twice in one turn.
For Temenos the Cleric, he maintains the Guide ability to have people follow him during missions. The new Cleric ability is Coerce, where he can break someone in battle and again new information. In battle, Moonlight Judgment allows him to cause all enemies to be enfeebled at night. His Latent Power can lower enemy Shield Points with any attack, ignoring their usual weaknesses.
Octopath Traveler II releases for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on February 24th.
