A New Power Rangers 30th TV Anniversary Special And ‘Cosmic Fury’ Arriving This Year

For its 30th anniversary, Might Morphin Power Rangers has some pretty exciting things planned with regards to television. Hasbro and eOne recently revealed a stand-alone special as well as the third season of its latest series.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is a scripted stand-alone anniversary special that will premiere exclusively on Netflix globally on April 19th. It will bring back some of the franchise’s most beloved Rangers such as David Yost and Walter E. Jones from the series’ original cast, who are returning for the first time.

Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always takes place thirty years after Zordon formed the Power Rangers where the team must confront a familiar threat from the past. Drawing from legendary mantra of the franchise that “Once a Ranger, Always a Ranger,” Once & Always reminds everyone when you become a Ranger, you are always a part of the Ranger family and always welcome.

Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury returns for a third season and continues the adventures of Power Rangers: Dino Fury. The team heads into outer space to unlock new Cosmic powers and defend the universe against the returning infamous villain Lord Zedd.

Amelia the Dino Fury Pink Ranger will become the Cosmic Fury Red Ranger evolving into the first full-time female Red Ranger in the series. For the first time in the Hasbro / eOne production, Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury will feature newly designed costumes for all the core cast Ranger team. They are designed by Sarah Voon with all new morphers and weapons designed by Tracey Collins.

Simon Bennett returns as Executive Producer on both productions, with Co-Producers and Head Writers Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale. Power Rangers: Cosmic Fury, premieres exclusively on Netflix globally in Fall 2023.
