What’s Inside: Pokemon Scarlet And Violet DLC

The newest installation in Pokemon gaming, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, has just announced an upcoming DLC. Avid gamers can pre-order The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero right now on Nintendo’s e-shop. To encourage decisive action all accounts that pre-order the DLC will also receive a free gifted Hisulian Zoroark – a regional-form pokemon exclusive to Pokemon Arceus. While an exact release date for the DLC is not provided, trainers are advised by Nintendo to pre-order by October 31st 2023 to secure this gift.
But what else can fans look forward to in this DLC in exchange for their additional $34.99 USD, on top of the initial $59.99 USD paid upon release for the base game? For now very little is conclusive. The site boasts 3 new exclusive ‘mon in the Teal Mask and advertises the return of familiar faces including images of previous generations Pokemon such as Whimsicott, Alcremie, and Ninetales.
Unofficial sources suggest over 200 previous pokemon will be added back into this with the DLC release.
All-in-all it would appear we may need to wait a bit longer for concrete details.
