Anderson’s ‘Supreme Sacrifice’ Celebrate In The New ‘Hall Of Heroes Judge Anderson’ – More 2000 AD & Hiya Toys Coming Early 2024

Another classic moment in 2000 AD history comes to life from Hiya Toys. This time it’s the classic ‘supreme sacrifice’ of Judge Anderson in Hiya Toys & 2000 AD’s new 1/18 scale ‘Hall of Heroes Judge Anderson’ figure set.

Judge Cassandra Anderson’s sacrifice saved MC-1 and the world, with her mind acting as a living prison for the undead superfiend Judge Death. Now she lies encased in a slab of the miracle plastic Boing®.

The iconic moment in the history of comics is now captured in the latest figure set from Hiya Toys and 2000 AD.

Based on the original artwork by Brian Bolland, the Hall of Heroes Judge Anderson set is scheduled to reach stores in the first quarter of 2024.

All the standard stuff you’ve seen in the past is here for the figure set, 15 points of articulation and plenty of accessories, including a replacement hand, soul chip, a Boing® spray, a Boing® special effects accessory, and transparent coffin with eagle wreath.

Written by John Wagner and drawn by Bolland, ‘Judge Death’ from 2000 AD Progs 149-151 in 1980 introduced both Anderson and Judge Death, adding two classic characters in one storyline. Anderson’s irreverent nature and incredible bravery contrasted with the alien superfiend declaring that life itself is illegal!

Death’s quest to eradicate life from MC-1 was only stopped when Anderson realised that the only way to stop him is to psychically cage his spirit form in her mind – and then have her body encased in the breathable but impervious ‘miracle plastic’, Boing®. Her transparent tomb, bearing the legend ‘Supreme Sacrifice. Judge Anderson – A Monster Dwells Within Her’, is housed in the ‘Hall of Heroes’ in Justice Department’s Grand Hall of Justice – considered too dangerous to ever open.
