Zdarsky And Kubert Team Up For Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man This Summer

by Staff

Marvel have announced that this June, Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man will bring Peter back to New York City. Written by Chip Zdarsky and drawn by Adam Kubert, this is an all-star team up for a new ongoing series. Based on this creative team, the series is going to have plenty of humor and a sense of adventure.

Fans are going to get an early taste of the series, though, since it’s going to debut as a ten page story in a Marvel offering for Free Comic Book Day in May, too.

Here’s the official description for the new series:

He’s a webslinging, wallcrawling wonder. He’s the world’s greatest super hero. He’s the unluckiest guy on the planet. He’s Spider-Man! Following his globetrotting adventures, it’s big heroics in the Big Apple as Peter Parker returns to the city that never sleeps! Be there as he swings between giant skyscrapers, squares off against his iconic rogues gallery and still manages to be late for that date he had planned!

Marvel’s Free Comic Book Day offering will include Secret Empire and All New Guardians of the Galaxy stories alongside Peter Parker: The Spectacular Spider-Man.
