The South by Southwest (SXSW) film festival is running March 10-19th in Austin, Texas, and needless to say, there’s plenty of news coming out about films and TV shows. American Gods made a splash and has featured in the news rounds with their premier coming up on Starz on April 30th.

But today, Starz released a second official trailer for the series via Twitter, to much twitterstorming:

Based on the novel by Neil Gaiman and with the author’s involvement in development, the series is much anticipated by fans, had a large presence at San Diego Comic Con 2016, and arrives as a comic series from Dark Horse Comics today, March 15th ahead of the premier.

The official Twitter account for American Gods on Starz has released a short recap reel of their presence at SXSW:

Starz have posted the SXSW panel for American Gods which we can watch:

You can even watch the Red Carpet footage:

And you can still watch the first official trailer released at SDCC, laying out a gathering of gods:

A storm of interest is definitely building for this show which seems to already capture a lot of confidence in the roles and an atmosphere not quite like any other fantasy shows you might have seen.

Here’s looking forward to April 30th on Starz.
