by Gary Catig

The more acceptance and acclaim comics and graphic novels receive for their literary merit, the more libraries stock their collections with them. Therefore, it should be no surprise when the American Library Association holds their big conferences, comic publishers make their presence felt exhibiting, holding panels, and providing exclusives.

This year, for ALA Midwinter 2019, Boom! Studios have revealed their plans for the show, which will take place January 25th – 29th at the Washington State Convention Center in Seattle.

Arune Singh, VP of Marketing, says:

BOOM! Studios is heading to ALA Midwinter with a guarantee for every librarian – you’ll leave our booth with more than one new book perfect for the patrons walking through your doors every day. We’re excited to meet each of the librarians making such a huge impact in their communities by offering them different limited-edition exclusives, meet & greet opportunities with some of our most popular creators, an exciting selection of graphic novels from our diverse library, tasty treats and more each day!

They will have plenty of exclusives, some of which you can get signed by creators, along with advanced looks at anticipated 2019 graphic novels.
