Boom! Studios has shared an early look at Ben 10: For Science! the upcoming graphic novel based on the series from Cartoon Network. Written by CB Lee and illustrated by Mattia Di Meo, Ben 10: For Science! follows Ben and Gwen as they go undercover at the Stars Beyond Science Camp after hearing rumors about a strange monster attacking kids. Ben isn’t too jazzed about this as doing science projects during summer vacation is not his idea of fun. He soon changes his tune after he makes a lot of new friends in the Robotics track. When his new buddy Jesse’s robot goes missing, Ben and Gwen search for answers.
This will be the second original graphic novel as part of a new partnership between Boom! Studios and Cartoon Network. The first, Ben 10: The Truth is Out There from Lee and artist Lidan Chen is due out in March 2019. Both will be published under Boom! Studios’ KaBoom! imprint alongside other comics for middle grade and younger readers. This is great timing as the TV show was just renewed for a fourth season.
Ben 10: For Science! is due out in July 2019.
