ECCC 2019: Oni Press Exclusives, Signings & Programming

by Gary Catig

Emerald City Comic Con is less than a month away and news of various publishers’ plans are slowly trickling out for the Seattle based show. Recently, Oni Press announced what they have in store and they’re looking to make a big splash. From exclusives to collectibles and creator signings to panels, Oni will be busy this March 14 – 17.

What’s a big show without exclusives? They will have Morning in America #1 with Rii Abrego providing the cover art. For fans of the dad dating simulator video game, there will be a deluxe limited-edition hardcover of Dream Daddy.  Rick and Morty is one of Oni’s most popular series and they will have Rick and Morty Presents: Jerry #1 with the cover by Chris Uminga. In addition, they have pins from Aquicorn Cove and a new set from The Tea Dragon Society.

Available at the show will be new collectible volumes of Invader Zim Volume 6 with a variant cover by Megan Lawton and Rick and Morty Volume 8 with a variant cover by Julieta Colás.

If you’re at the show, you might not be able to buy new releases at your local comic book shop but you can pick up Oni’s at their booth. Titles include The Long Con Volume 1 by Dylan Meconis, Ben Coleman, and EA Denich; Cretaceous by Tadd Galusha; Rick and Morty™ vs. Dungeons & Dragons trade paperback; Our Super Adventure: Press Start to Begin by Sarah Graley; Long Road to Liquor City by Macon Blair and Joe Flood; The Ballad of Sang Volume 1 by Ed Brisson and Alessandro Micelli; and the Guerilllas Omnibus by Brahm Revel.
