by Gary Catig

DC Universe Online is the only MMO game that puts fans into the popular comic universe. Already out on various platforms like Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the video game will be available this summer on the Nintendo Switch. It can be played on either handheld or TV mode.

Players can enter the DCU as either a hero or villain and customize their character’s look and superpowers. They have opportunities to interact with over 300 icons like Batman, Superman and the Joker while visiting famous locations including Gotham, Themyscira and Atlantis.

SJ Mueller, Creative Director of DC Universe Online, says:

Bringing such a massive online game to Nintendo Switch has been a dream come true. As soon as the Nintendo Switch released, the development team couldn’t help but wonder, what if…? Long story short, we are so excited for players to take their DC experience wherever they go.

DC Universe Online is developed by Daybreak Games. The game comes from the artistic vision of Jim Lee and takes place in a world created by Geoff Johns and Marv Wolfman. Check out the teaser for the Nintendo Switch release below.
