Sonic Mania And Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Are Part Of Sony’s PS+ For June

by Sage Ashford

Players will get to feel the need for speed, as Sony has announced their free titles for PlayStation Plus for the month of June.

With the 2017 title Sonic Mania, players will get to enjoy the fun of 2D Sonic again. Players will get to play as Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles in a battle against Eggman. The game combines brand-new stages with classic ones, like the original Green Hill Zone from the original game. Sonic Mania also offers players the opportunity to play in multi-player in both competitive and co-operative modes.

Meanwhile, right in time for the upcoming Borderlands 3, Sony brings fans Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, a package that includes both Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.  This will include all the DLC available for both titles, and will allow players to carry over their save data from the PlayStation 3 version as well.

These games will land on PlayStation+ on June 3rd and will replace the May titles What Remains of Edith Finch and Overcooked.
