Review Round Up: Rounding Up The Week’s Comic Book Reviews

by Olly MacNamee

Welcome to the weekend everyone! And welcome to another round of comic book reviews from our small but dedicated comic book reviewers, including yours truly who managed to post a few reviews myself in between my editing duties and day time teaching. I looked at Scott Snyder’s comiXology debut title We Have Demons #1, as well as DC Comics’ Deathstroke Inc. #1, The Swamp Thing #8 and AHOY Comics’ Edgar Allan Poe’s Snifter of Death #1.

Meanwhile, Scott Redmond plowed through Marvel’s Champions #10, Hellions #16, Miles Morales: Spider-Man #30 DC Comics’ Detective Comics #1043 and IDW’s Teenage Mutant Turtles #121.

Bringing up the rear was Richard Bruton – our champion of the UK comic book scene – reviewed The Phoenix Comics’ Bunny Versus Monkey and No Country.

The Big Two certainly dominated this week’s pull list of comics, but I am please we are one of the very, very few comic book websites that do go out of our way to review UK titles as well as the odd European title too. And, hopefully, it may get a few of our US readers considering titles from across the pond from time to time too.
